12/17 - 20 days and counting

20 days has pass since I had a decent night of sleep. Since thanksgiving, I have been working long hours and going out till the wee hours of the morning. Finally, an end to the trend - relief is on site as I got home early tonight and will be heading to bed shortly. It sure has been a grueling 20 days living on 4-5 hours of sleep. I sure have been really tired and others have notice. Comments such as "You're not as cheerful as you used to be" and "You look exhausted" have been opinioned over.  But there is good on all of this, one – I learned that working long hours doesn’t reaped more benefits. It just makes me feel older. And two – it’s not all bad as I helped wrapped gifts last Monday that would be given to unprivileged kids around the county I live. Even though I didn’t get home till 1 in the morning, it was worth it.

After a decent night of sleep, I’ll be back to oneself again, better than ever with full of energy and enthusiasm.  Till then, goodnight…sleep tight..prepare for another long day ahead.
