Spring is here and guess what - allergy season is on hand. Grrrr.. I have been sneezing the past two days (not too bad though). I dont usually get affected by pollen but this year seems odd. I had to go to the pharmacy to get allergy medicine.
The weather was gorgeous this weekend. So I went to the city with my buddy to meet up with other people for a get together on a rooftop bar. We went to Me Bar and here is my review:
"Situated at the top of La Quinta Inn in the heart of K-town lies Me-bar, a cozy small hidden rooftop bar with small patio filled with metallic tables and chairs coupled with stools and wall sitting. Its a great place to meet up with friends with $6 beer and $7cocktails - a fairly bargain price in the heart of Manhattan. The patio is well-lit with christmas lights decorating the white walls as well as well heated with heating lamps ensuring a nice warm atmosphere especially during the winter months. They don't have any grub but if you ask, the bartender will hand you a book which contain a vast array of menu from pizza to sushi that can be delivered straight to your table. Doesn't have a vast array of beer (I counted 8 without my fave one, Corona) but do have a good selection of cocktails. Tend to get crowded with people standing around waiting for tables. But once you settle in, you will enjoy the warm weather with cold drinks, good friends and a great view of the Empire State Building."
It sure was a fun night meeting new people and seeing old acquaintances. After that, I drove home and got stuck in PIP for almost 40 minutes (Sheessh). There was an accident but I really can't see what kind since the emergency crew had block off one lane with their trucks and cars. Anyway, hopefully it wasn't as bad and everyone involved are safe.
Sunday's weather was alright, a lil cooler but still nice to wander outdoors. And thats when I started sneezing.. achooo...
Last weekend was the 400th episode of A State of Trance and it sure was a super show with Guest DJs the whole three days. I had a chance to listen on thursday and friday. Especially on friday, I didnt went out that night and just stayed glued to my computer as I listen and chair rave to the beats of Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Daniel Kandi and Simon Petterson. I started listening at 8 pm and it didnt end till 1 in the morning. And of course, I was twittering the whole time with ASOT listeners and it sure was great to see tweets from all over the world. Its like this event made everyone set their differences aside to enjoy 72 hours of trance energy. Its a good thing I didnt break my chair with the amount of raving I did. haha.
ahh.. Monday is almost over. Was a bit busy with work then afterwards, hit the gym before going to Zumba class. Now Im a bit tired. Need.. to.. sleep.. now
