1/06: gloomy days

its been really gloomy weather for the past two days...

it was a foggy day yesterday and I surely thought the fog would disappear by midday but nooo... it was foggy in the morning, it was more foggier at night.  Of course I had to drive slower as visibility become lesser than usual. Then after work and gym, i went to get a small bookcase as well as a gift for a friend who's birthday party I'm attending this weekend. I still have to get one more gift, this time for my uncle who is celebrating his birthday on sunday. I went to three stores last night and didnt find anything so hopefully I will find something either tomorrow night or saturday.

Today was better, not too foggy but was gloomy and raining the whole time. It was supposed to be in the 60s today but it sure felt like it was just in the 40s.

So yesterday was also super tuesday. John McCain easily won the Republican votes while the democratic side is still a toss up between Hillary and Obama. It was also the day when the NY Giants had their superbowl parade in the city. I wish I was there but I had to go to work. Im sure a lot of people had a good time eventhough the weather didn't really cooperate.

Tomorrow is Chinese New Year.. we are welcoming the Year of the Rat
