I was supposed to post a blog entry last night but I went to a friends house for dinner and ended up watching American Idol. The 12 contestants didn't really have the 'umph' except for the last guy. Anyway, tonight was almost the same - didnt get home till late - the snow and rain this afternoon didn't help either.
So its been 16 days since the last time I posted on my blog. I have been just busy with work that by the time I get home, I tired of looking at my 'puter. Anyway, I do need to update my blog once in awhile just to let you everyone know Im still alive. hehehe.
So the day of hearts pass. Hmm, I spent that day doing nothing. Its kinda sad since it was the birthday of a person that was deep in my heart who pass away almost two years ago. I do still remember what I did last year, I went over to some friends out because this girl who I was seeing was cooking dinner. I bought her a valentines package and left it in my car since no one knew that we were starting to go out. She was a good cook though and she made some Mac and Cheese and a rice pudding dessert. Anyway, after the dinner, we walked towards my car and I drove her to where she park (it was a big parking lot). Since she needed to warm her car up (diesel engine), we hang out in my car and thats when I gave her the valentines gift. It sure was nice to see her light up upon seeing the gift. Oh, and how can I forget the spit bubbles she was making and of course, one hitting my right eye. Disgusting huh? but sure hell was funny. Hah.. sure was a good night. But it didnt last for long.. anyway, thats another story to tell.
I finally had a chance to eat at Carmines in the city. Sheeesh.. the last time I went, we were told that the wait would be one and half hour. I sure cannot wait that long that we ended up eating at Virgils. Anyway, the food was delish - the porterhouse was tender, the fish - the special of the night - taste great without the fishy smell. The stuff mushroom was a great appetizer as well as the calamari even though I had better ones. The penne ala vodka was yummy but I didnt particularly like the baked ziti. Anyway, overall, the ambience was wonderful, the service was great and the food was delightful. I cannot wait to go back there again.
I do need a vacation and have to start planning about it. Where should I go? hmm.. a part of me wants to go back to Vegas but another part of me wants to go somewhere else. Gotta decide before I end up not going anywhere again.
Alrighty, thats all for now... I guess. hehe.
