01/04-01/07: The weekend and the first

Being sick is surely not a good way to end the week. I remember when I was a kid and getting sick was like a great thing because I wont have to go to school. But nowadays, getting sick means I won't be able to do most of the things I want to do .

So I was having this stuffed nose for the past few days now and it doesnt get better because of the weather. It was so chilly last thursday and friday and then suddenly the weather took a reverse. Now its suppose to be in the 50s, tomorrow might be 60s and the following days would be 50s. I think thats the main reason why everyone is getting a cold this time of the year. The sudden change in weather doesn't help as you don't know what to wear outside. You don't want to wear your warm clothes when its cold outside and visa versa. Hmmm.. I guess global warming is affecting us .

I was feeling fine for the past few days, just a stuffy nose so I wasn't worried too much. I went to work on friday, did some projects, then headed to the gym for a decent workout. Afterwhich I went home and rested for a bit before heading out again to help someone setup for a soccer tournament before heading back home around quarter past midnight. Then I had to wake up early saturday for the soccer tournament working in the concession stand. I was feeling good that day and was eager to do a lot of stuff (which I did). Then I went over my colleague's house for dinner before heading back home and finally resting. Then on sunday, I was feeling a little stuffy in the morning so I took a dayquil. I went to work and felt fine. But by 3 pm, it all went downhill. I felt that my body temperature went up and felt really tired and warm. I headed home, took a medicine and went to bed .

I feel better today, still have the stuffy nose but I will be alright. Sure is a pain being sick because it drains out my energy. So I went to the gym today and tried to make up for the 2 days of missed workouts. I did good at the gym, not too much but i felt better than usual. so i think im back

I had two long meetings today so it made my day go fast. I even got a free lunch on one of them so that made it more sweeter . Then went to the gym and a had a long chat with a friend of mine.  Then I came home and felt better..

Well folks, time to head to bed and get some more sleep.. good night
